Book Description HTML

Constance Chatterley is trapped in a loveless marriage to a paralyzed aristocrat, and she falls in love with the gamekeeper on their estate.

Jean Baxter

This book was well written and for its time was very brave. Today, of course, it would hardly raise an eyebrow but never the less it was a page turner and you wanted to know just how the characters would act and feel. D H Lawrence brings his characters alive and the place where they live becomes very real. An extremely enjoyable book. Jean B
