Book Description HTML

Do you attract the same person in your life, and end up with the same result? Are you ready to try a different approach to finding love? Read Date with Purpose. If you focus on having a positive purpose and outlook on life, and seek to create a positive environment with friends and family, you naturally invite more positive people to join you. The partner that is just right for you will be among them, waiting for you to discover him or her. If you're afraid that you're not gorgeous, smart, sexy, or ready enough for that once-in-a-lifetime partner, don't be! The true sex appeal has little to do with appearance (and I'll prove that to you later in the book!), and everything to do with being grounded and self-confident. Read Date with Purpose today!

I date with the intention of finding Mr. Right - with hopes to share a future. I am in sales... a great communicator. I have no need to refine my skills relating to small talk, humor or conversation starters lol. I am far to busy to date for practice. I certainly date with intent or “purpose” if you will. I liked the approach of this book. It created some great personal questions in my mind. Many "ah ha" moments for me. For those searching for a lasting relationship I would definitely recommend this book.

I expected this and it happened. There in the section dealing with low self-esteem, the author brought in the concept of a loving God. The problem with this is that bringing in this concept is to not solve the core issue of low self-esteem which is seeking validation from outside one's self. Still seeking approval and any sense of self-worth from others - a person is just changing deck chairs on the Titanic. The next problem, yes there are others but tw is all you're gong to get, is the author's statement that until you have found your purpose, you shouldn't date at all. This is to confuse dating with spouse-hunting but in any case, dating per se isn't just about finding your life partner, it is also about learning how to interact with others in real life. Overcoming shyness, learning to do small talk, refining one's sense of humor and judgement all to become socially poised and better able to capitalize on one's opportunities when one does begin serious spouse-hunting are just a few of the benefits of dating just to gain experience.
