Control of Electric Vehicle
A paper which discusses the modeling of electric vehicle in detail. Discussion on the control of electric vehicle driven by different motors both brushed and brushless DC (Direct Current) motors. The discussion for AC (Alternative Current) motorsis focused on induction motor and permanent magnet synchronous motor. The design of controllers for different motor-driven electric vehicle was discussed in-depth and the testing of high-performance control strategies for different motors are presented. The model-based controller designed for brushed DC motor can be designed in a similar way if the control strategies are used. Finally, the implementation of the controller with DSP and some test results with this platform are presented.
