When Nicolaus Copernicus discovered the Earth wasn't the center of the Universe, everything changed. When Isaac Newton figured out the law of gravity from a falling apple, everything changed. When Benjamin Franklin harvested electricity from lightening and Thomas Edison made the first commercial light bulb, everything changed. Today, when quantum physicists realize our physical universe isn't real, that it's just a hologram, everything... wait! Nothing's changed - yet. Now "Butterflies Are Free To Fly" offers a new and radical approach to spiritual evolution based on the recent scientific evidence about our holographic universe.

Interesting book. But some of the things which I don't agree with the author are 1) that we are controlled by our Infinite I and we don't have free will , 2) the world is a holographic field 3) that he doesn't agree with the other authors whom he has quoted in his book. But nevertheless , a very good book for all those who are reading about quantum physics etc for first time. I liked the metaphors that the author has used, made it more interesting to read.

The book landed in my laps in a very interesting way, I guess the old adage "when the student is ready the master will appear" applied to me, as I had reached the point where my journey felt as though it had hit a brick wall and all the stiff I was reading conveyed the same message, and despite all the "knowing" that I think I had, I still felt 'stuck' - couldn't create a new reality as my current holographic experience is not serving me anymore. So when I read this book, my initial reaction was relief - I cant explain it but it was such an uplift knowing I wasn't responsible for all this - the "good" and the "bad" in my life. Yet with that relief also came a sense of disappointment at the thought of not being able to control the direction of life. Free will was explained but in a rather hazy way and it made me feel despondent and helpless like a victim of some sort and I haven't felt the whole 'victim' felling in over ten years. So that was not very pleasant. Just a player cannot create or influence anything just here to feel. I squirmed. But none the less, it contained so many truths and his honesty was poignant and endearing. Thank you Stephen,

It was a very nice book. The author's way of thinking was interesting, though the holographic universe theory has been recently scientifically rejected (at least, almost) and I don't think there are Infinite Is behind The Field, even though this is what every religion believed (others believe in one, others in more). True or not, it was enlightening to meet an opinion as unusual and interesting as this one. The only part of the book I didn't completely enjoy is that the author is rejecting every other theory except of his, and saying that some people "lost their way", whereas he rejects judgement. But these are only details.

Excellent. Teaches you a lot of practical things for improving your quality of life, regardless of the philosophy.
