The Art of Needlework dates from the earliest record of the world's history, and has, also, from time immemorial been the support, comfort, or employment of women of every rank and age. (Note : Illustrations not included.)

I agree with many others - I find it almost useless without illustrations

Stephanie Anagnostakis

In such a book there should be illustration otherwise it's almost impossible to understand what it is talking about, hard to follow couldn't keep reading

Kazzy McDonald

Just begun learning to crochet, so anything about the subject is helpful to me.

Sagarika Ghosal

book is good but illustration are not included

I was excited to get this book to learn some traditional needlework, however none of the illustrations are included which makes the book next to useless, seriously don't bothet

Ann Hixon

I rememeber my mother with this book and I read it as a young girl and I am so pleased to have it now

Diane Fenney

I like the book but had hoped to use it to help my daughter learn some needlework and it is virtually impossible without pictures. Had I known I would probably not have had the book

Hi, thanks for the book. It would have been far more informative..actually far more better with illustrations. Not having illustrations is disconcerting. one cannot understand what is being shown. Needlework does require some form of illustration. pls do the needful. apart from that the book is good

The book itself is really good if you are into vintage needlework. I was disappointed because the illustrations were not included in the PDF book. That is why I gave it such a low rating.
