When the inventor Perry fires up his burrowing prospector, it runs out of control, plunging him with his young protégé into the centre of the earth. There, instead of being destroyed by the molten lava they expect to find, they discover an inner world of bizarre savagery and unearthly beauty.

Anuja Heshan Vithanage

finished reading today. Great story. Would've like it better if the end is more specific.

I have full paperback collection.

Rachel

Very interesting and well written. I was sad when it ended; especially on that cliffhanger! Would love to read a sequel. No good can come of introducing modern weapons to the core!
