Flora Stravinsky, testing the Socratic maxim, "The unexamined life is not worth living," left her husband and young daughter, to journey the world alone. Three decades later, Flora, a wisdom woman and mystic, living in her magic cottage of ten-thousand things, reunites with her estranged daughter, Dice, a hard-bitten attorney. Flora is skirting the edges of senility, while Dice deals with her menopause, and the two women help one another face their mortality and transcend. Vol. II of Mercy In Love.
