Agents 32 and 33 of the so-called psecret psociety travel from Charlotte to Winston-Salem (NC, USA) to search for more clues on a majestic spring Saturday. They sample several downtown spots and leave their own breadcrumbs. The next day, it's a lakeside conclusion. Brazenly biographical, oddly ordinary, and yet surreal in spots. Approx. 3,800 words. Malloy went undetected.
