Ranney’s Personal Attributes
Ranney liked the night. The days were filled with people who were required to be there. Job. Errands. Perfunctory faces. But the nights were filled with those who wanted to be there. More or less. ....... Hehe. You expected an absolute. ...... Grow up, retard.
I Love the Night
Blue Öyster Cult
That night her kiss told me it was over
I walked out late into the dark
The misty gloom seems to soak up my sorrow
The further I went on
I felt a spreading calm
Then suddenly my eyes were bathed in light
And the lovely lady in white was by my side
She said "Like me I see you're walking alone
Won't you please stay?"
I couldn't look away
She said
I love the night
The day is OK and the sun can be fun but I live
To see those rays slip away
I love the night
There's so much I can show and give to you
If you will welcome me tonight
If only you had been there my dear
We could have shared this together
No mortal was meant to know such wonder
One look in the mirror told me so
Come darkness I'll see her again
Yes I'm gonna go
'Cause now I know
I love the night

Personal physical attributes irrelevant, the core of Ranney’s current being sprang forth when he tired of reading internet news generated by redundant, not all that bright bots. “Their real purpose is to make ineffectual, nerd, libtard, readers of the populace.” Video games came next and were quite enjoyable for a while, but ultimately lost their thrill due to perfunctory, long term duplication and “wins” all too easy, only interrupted by ads for Carnival Cruise Lines and Chuck E. Cheese, both offering “discounts for fambly” orders.
Well, okay; the physicality does come into play. His mid twentieth century classical appearance served to make most think without thinking that he was a libtard. And they’d be partly right, just unable to update their notions. Mullets and clean shaven faces, with the occasional descent into a lower mid-face bush, provided all the “evidence” required. A plethora of pocketed “work”-shirts and denim everywhere sealed the deal; the deal that neither side knew they were making. Nonetheless, the changing times that Ranney once thought capable only of changing themselves, not him; had an insidious way of worming their way

in. If that was previously easily escapable, the bot driven net made it less likely.
It was all good in a way, as it led Ranney to find his true purpose in mid-late life, more or less; as who can accurately predict such things? The overall suggestion seemed to come from God Himself; which He answered saying; “To make this world a better place.”
