The Joke

An imaginary conversation with a blind person.

“So, who is watching?”

“Most everyone.”

“Who is being watched?”

“All those who want to be.”

“And if you don’t want to be?”

“Then you are not.”

“How is this different from the ‘1984’ predictions?’

“It is in every relevant way. They have the mechanics required, but don’t have the time or interest to monitor anyone who doesn’t stupidly advertise themselves.”

“So, those who are watched seek that?”

“Most certainly; whether they realize or admit it. They still think that ‘likes’ translate to money, or fame, or something.”

“Doesn’t it?”

“It can, of course. But, it rarely does, and if it does never lasts long. It’s for the visionless, contemporarily desperate.”

“You’re just showing your jealousy.”

“Maybe, but I don’t think so. ...... Anyway, go for it if you want to. I won’t stop you or care. I probably won’t even notice.”

“So, what’s your passion, oh great one?”

“None of your business, nosy retard.”

AI models collapse when they train on their own fake output. Rare details get averaged out until they vanish, and everything turns weird, blurry, and broken. Human brains and entire societies work the same way.

Kids used to train on raw reality: climbing trees, touching grass, skinning knees. Real physics and real consequences.

Now they train on second-hand slop: cartoon physics, TikTok edits, anime worlds, video game power fantasies, Marvel plots, globo-homo propaganda.

The more we replace direct experience with synthetic experience, the more our shared "model of reality" drifts from truth and mutates into a grotesque, clown world caricature.

We're doing to civilization exactly what happens to an AI that eats nothing but its own fake content.

In a society full of people trained on human-generated slop instead of reality, everyone becomes delusional, culture turns clown world, birthrates collapse, and civilization dies.

We starved ourselves of real experience and seeing the inevitable consequences.

Flaming Telepaths

Blue Öyster Cult

Well I've opened up my veins too many times And the poison's in my heart and in my mind

Poison's in my bloodstream, poison's in my pride

I'm after rebellion, I'll settle for lies

Is it any wonder that my mind's on fire

Imprisoned by the thoughts of what to do

Is it any wonder that my joke's an iron

And the joke's on you

Experiments that failed too many times

Transformations that were too hard to find

Poison's in my bloodstream, poison's in my pride

I'm after rebellion, I'll settle for lies

Yes, I know the secrets of the iron and mind

They're trinity acts, a mineral fire

Yes, I know the secrets of the circuitry mind

It's a flaming wonder telepath
