The Bureau of Dreams to be Continued

A curious little kitten notices that the house looks very different. There's a tall tree covered in lights and ornaments. Everything sparkles and jingles, inviting exploration.
The kitten paws at shiny balls, bats at tinsel, and tries to climb the branches. Each decoration is a puzzle to be solved.
Hanging stockings catch the kitten's eye. She sniffs and wonders what they're for, puzzled by the strange tradition.
Boxes under the tree are especially mysterious. The kitten paws at ribbons and paper, curious about what's inside.
The kitten finally discovers that the presents came from Santa Claus, solving the mystery of who left them beneath the tree.
The story closes with the kitten happily joining the family celebration, surrounded by warmth, gifts, and the magic of Christmas morning.
This Little Golden Book, written by Linda Hayward, is designed for very young readers, so the plot is simple and charming: Christmas is seen as a magical adventure through the kitten's innocent curiosity.
