When Mrs. Cat and her kittens come to play with Marcella and her dolls in the garden and it starts to rain, Kitten Little gets scooped up with the Raggedys and shut up in the nursery for the night. Raggedy Ann and Andy and their friends take care of Kitten Little so he won’t get scared all night long.

A little girl, Marcella, tells her toys she is going to the circus but can't take them as it is too wet outside. Once she leaves, the toys, led by Raggedy Ann, put on their own circus, with each of the toys showing off their special skills then hurrying back to their places before Marcella returns home.
