The story of Noah's ark is one of the stories children learn early in their exposure to the stories in the Bible. This Little Golden Book, tells that story with words and illustrations attractive to children and in a delightful manner.
God tells Noah to build an ark as a flood is coming. He tells him to gather in two of every animal, male and female. Noah’s neighbors call him crazy, but then the rains came and came and came.
The animals are designed so their expressions reflect what is happening in the story, especially when they get restless at being in the ark for such a long time or are happy when they are the water recedes and they are finally allowed to run free. The story ends with the rainbow which is a sign of the covenant God made with Noah to never destroy the earth with water again.
