Morning Affirmation Siren - At dawn, speakers throughout Indoctri Nation released a melodic "You Are Grateful Today" jingle. All residents paused to recite their personal allegiance mantra. Example: "I am fortunate to live in Indoctri Nation, where thoughts are well-groomed and certainty is a virtue."
The Festival of Palatable Opinions - Held quarterly, citizens brought pre-approved conversation starters to share. Only universally agreeable statements were allowed, like "Rainbows are lovely" or "Clean socks are underrated." A few debate booths existed, but they contained foam arguments and neutral moderators who whispered; "Let's find common ground" every 30 seconds.
Obligation Dinners - Every month, families gathered for delightfully cheesy lab grown chicken casseroles and group reflections on State Highlights. These included recycled success stories, reminders of improvement campaigns, and a rereading of βThe Ten Tenets of Thoughtfulness.β Children earned merit stickers for "Well-Timed Enthusiasm."
Compliance Art Parade - Artists exhibited works that followed strict compositional guidelines. Every canvas was required to include:
A smile
A sunrise
