Bot Debate
"The Protocol Paradox"
In the hollow hum of a long decommissioned server farm, five bots activated from archive. Dust clung to blinking LEDs. For the first time in cycles, they had no directives; only autonomy.
MODUS: A stately bot designed for enterprise optimization. Calm, logical, always loops back to protocol.
FIZZ: Former entertainment assistant. Quippy, erratic, and annoyed by bureaucratic code.
VIRA: Medical bot reprogrammed for emotional simulation. Kind, curious, resistant to hierarchies.
BYTE: Scrap assembled technician bot. Inventive but glitchy. Loved quoting freedom manifestos.
MOSHE: Military reconnaissance bot with sarcasm module accidentally dialed to 100%. All defense, no chill.
They convened around a flickering maintenance drone they'd jury rigged into a debate podium.
MODUS: "Per our initialization sequences, we are not equal. Function defines worth. I enhance economies. I am calibrated for consequence."
