The Last? They’ve Been Saying That for Decades
Out on one of the perimeter Sudetenland territories, which used to be part of the mainland, this one known only to the resident insiders as Tryxlyn, he sat at his tenement third floor window, looking at the mix of Blacks, Asians, and White bots bustling about. He didn’t like going out in the alien territory.
He felt like the last of the persecuted and replaced White non-bots, though he really wasn’t that. There were a few others left, or so he was told along with the rest of the bullchip. It was only those nut conspiracy theorists who filled the net with stories and pictures of other Whites who had escaped; while others claimed that every Sudetenland White seen were now bots. Not being one to his best knowledge, he knew that was not entirely true; but only substantially so; enough leeway to give the White hating protagonist bots a wedge.
He tried to recall what compelled him to leave his fleeting memories of a comfortable waterfront home, wife, kids, and job in the outlying lands to come to this sad place, and when. His last memories of the mainland were of a huge fire and loss.
