He went on to be arrested and charged with violent disorder and racially/religiously aggravated harassment. Halton is a repeat offender as he was earlier ordered to pay $400 at Magistrates Court for having nailed a post on one light pole which said; “REPENT, THE TSUNAMI IS NEAR.”
Sentencing on Tuesday, Judge Vanessa Baraitser described the defendant’s comments as “racist” and “profoundly offensive,” which quite frankly is getting to be boring and redundant Nuisanstein appointed judge sentencing speak, perhaps suggestive of a lack of thought.
