We all held our breaths as the phone rang.
“The number you have reached is not accepting
calls at the moment...” The answering service
said.
“That means nothing!” Kaia yelled.
“Yeah, it just means his phone is turned off.”
Ezra added.
Joelle smiled in relief of her nerves.
“I’ll try again later, it is early.” Ezra said putting
the paper in her pocket.
“Umm, excuse me? That’s my autograph.” The
girl interrupted.
Ezra turned around quick.
“You stole it from my door, so no it’s not yours.”
Ezra countered.
The girl scowled and walked away.
“This is good Joelle.” Kaia said with a silly
smile.
“Yeah, it means he’s looking for you.” Ezra
added.
