Suddenly the elevator moved but stopped
quickly.
“No way! We are stuck!” Kaia said looking
around.
The manager quickly pushed the emergency
button but no reply.
At the arena, Joonmy was seconds away from
the start of his show. The lights flickered and
the fans began to scream. Joonmy looked at his
band and signaled for them to go on stage. The
fans chats automatically filled the arena.
Joonmy took a deep breath and entered the
stage as his band played the first song.
At the hotel, the manager looked at his watch
and took a deep breath.
“We are going to miss the show.” Kaia
whispered.
“My cell phone has no service in here.” Ezra
said as she lifted her cell in the air.
“This can’t be happening.” Joelle mumbled as
she looked around.
Suddenly the fire department came over the
loud speaker in the elevator.
