Grayson didn't show his face until a week had passed. He arrived one day at 2.00pm a time he knew Zac would not be home.
“Summer you and I are going to have a conversation which you might find a bit difficult but I would like you to listen to what I have to say before you pass judgement” declared Grayson.
Summer's answer was “I am not a judgemental person.”
Grayson sat down opposite her staring in to her beautiful face unsure how she would accept what he was about to say.
“I have been talking to a colleague of mine who is a Clinical Psychologist and even though he has a full schedule he has agreed to meet with my Son next week.”
“To do what?” asked Summer adding “Oh by the way his name is Zac, remember?”
“Oh for fuck's sake first my Daughter and now this” said Grayson putting his head in his hands.
Summer had rarely heard Grayson swear and was a little taken aback asking “Your Daughter, Jane, what has she got to do with this. Is she gay too?”
“No she is not gay, well as far as I am aware of anyway, but that's beside the point, this conversation is about Zac.”
“Then why have you arranged for Zac to meet with a Psychologist as Zac is perfectly fine?”
Grayson sighed and said patiently “My colleague is renowned for working with young teens who have behavioural problems. He is good at dealing with young people who might be at crossroads in their life so to speak and can guide them to follow the right path in life.”
“The right path being what is considered to be correct for a person walk through life?” asked Summer.
“Exactly” said Grayson enthusiastically. “My Son, I mean Zac, just needs a little push to find his way and will probably laugh years down the track that he could have been tempted to go in another direction.”
Horror crossed Summer's face. As she had done many times in the past she asked Grayson to leave but this time telling him never to come back.
