fingertips. If the knight is good, then the flame will not touch him or harm him. But if the knight is bad, then the fire will hurt him. Of course, the flames do hurt the knight; and he screams out. Quickly then determines that the knight is evil and orders the fairies to pinch him.

The fairies then sing and dance as they circle Falstaff and pinch him. During the song, Slender takes away a fairy who is dressed in white; and Caius takes away a fairy who is dressed in green. Fenton, however, takes away the fairy who is actually Anne Page.
