Parents to Event

“Who's there?” Celine's father inquired as he prepared to open the front door, where Mr. Nortreus was knocking.

“Good evening, sir!”

“I am Mr. Nortreus!”

“May I speak with Celine's parents, please?” He responded.

“Mr. Nortreus! Good evening!”

“What brings you here at this hour?”

“Why are you here?” Celine's father asked. “I just finished work, but I have something important to discuss with you and your wife.”

“May I have some words with you and your wife?”

“Don't worry, I don't live too far from here,” he replied.

“Alright, please come in so we can have a conversation,” Celine's father said.

“If you don't mind,” Celine’s father added. “No problem, but I prefer to remain by the door since I won't stay too long,” he said.

“I just came to extend an invitation regarding Celine,” he continued. While they were conversing, Celine and her mother came.

“Hun?”

“Who are you speaking with?” Celine's mother asked her husband.

As she got closer, she recognized Mr. Nortreus.

“Look, mother! It's Mr. Nortreus!” Celine exclaimed.

“I know, sweetheart!” Her mother replied.

“Good evening, Mr. Nortreus!”

“What brings you here at this hour?” Celine’s mother asked him.

“Good evening!”

“I would like to invite the three of you to an event organized by my workplace tomorrow starting at 8 AM,” he said.

“What do you think, Celine?”

“Are you free tomorrow morning?”

“Will you join your parents?” He then asked her.

“Of course! I want to attend your event!” She responded.

“Father! Mother! Can we accept the invitation?” She pleaded with her parents.

“We heard her, right?”

“So, what do you guys say, huh?”

“Will all three of you come tomorrow morning before 8?” He asked her parents, who were contemplating their decision.

“Please, what do you think?” She urged her parents to come again.

After about 20 seconds of discussion, Celine's parents finally decided.

“Mr. Nortreus! Thank you for your invitation!”

“My wife and I have decided to attend your event tomorrow morning with Celine,” Celine's father informed him.

“Yay! This is amazing!”

“Thank you, father and mother!” She expressed her joy.

“Alright, great!”

“Thank you for accepting my invitation!” He responded to Celine’s parents.

“Celine, remember to invite your friend, Kayla,” he reminded her.

“You heard me?” He spoke.

“Yes! I will invite my friend,” she replied to Mr. Nortreus who told her to come with Kayla.

“Alright! Have a good night, everyone!”

“Looking forward to seeing the three of you tomorrow!”

“I'm heading home now, alright?” He informed them as he exited the apartment. “Thanks for coming and have a good night as well!”

“See you tomorrow!” They replied.
