Mr. Nortreus Visited by Mrs.
Medjina
“Oh Mrs. Medjina! It was you!”
“How can I assist you?” He said then asked Mrs. Medjina, who was banging on the door.
“Are you alright, Mr. Nortreus?” She replied.
“Yes, I'm fine,” he said.
“Why?” He then asked her.
“Oh! No!” She replied.
“Nothing bad has occurred; I just wanted to check if you were okay,” she explained.
“Is that why you came here?” He retorted.
“Oh yes, that's the reason,” she admitted.
“Am I bothering you?” She then asked. “Oh no, you're not bothering me at all,” he assured her.
“I truly appreciate you stopping by to see me in my office,” he added.
“I hope you're doing well too,” he continued.
“Oh yes! I'm fine.”
“Thank you!” She replied.
“We've started to see some customers coming in, but not many," she noted.
“I'm glad to hear you're doing well, just like the rest of us!”
“As for customers, there might be more later on.”
“You know it's morning, and most people are either at work or in school,” he responded.
“Yes, you're correct!” She acknowledged.
“I was just checking you; I'm relieved to see you're okay.”
“I'll return to work now, and I'll see you later!” She told him.
“See you later!” He replied.
“Thank you!” He added.
Mr. Nortreus Went Back to
the Window
As soon as Mr. Nortreus closed the door after speaking with Mrs. Medjina, he returned to the window to open it for the bird to come in.
Unfortunately, when he got back to the window, the bird was gone; it had already flown away.
“The bird.”
“Where has it gone?”
“I apologize for being back so late,” he said while he stood by the window, gazing at the spot where the bird had been perched on the tree branch.
As soon as he realized that the bird had already flown away while he was conversing with his staff, he returned to his desk to continue documenting the biblical passages he had been working on before hearing the noise outside the window.
Indeed, one fact you may already be aware of is that he is the proprietor of one of the best museums in the town called Nortré-Ville Collections & Archives, which was bequeathed to him by his father upon his passing.
Naturally, this public museum and library contain valuable private rooms that are accessible only to him and his staff.
Among these private rooms are the Solar/Moon Room featuring a large Sun visual beneath a transparent wall, the Stars Rooms equipped with two prominent lights—one yellow and the other blue— suspended from the ceiling, and the Throne Room adorned with a shining blue Sun in a half-circle.
These rooms are also filled with paintings, galleries, and other valuable items.
Indeed, all these valuable private rooms are operated remotely to regulate their movements.
Mr. Nortreus Went to the
Park Before Home
Later, at noon, Mr. Nortreus departed from the museum and library to stroll to a park where he often went to relax, reflect, and write after work.
As a researcher, engaging in thought and writing was quite common for him.
After leaving work, he walked until he arrived at the park.
It was 12 PM and a few minutes.
“Oh, Mr. Nortreus, where are you headed?” Mrs. Medjina inquired as he descended the stairs to exit the building.
“Do you need anything to eat or drink?” She asked again.
“I'm heading to Nortré-Ville Public Park for a walk.”
“Would you mind if you prepared some extra coffee for me?” He responded.
“Sure! Your request has been approved!”
“Could you wait a moment while I get it ready for you?” She spoke.
“Of course?”
“Thank you?” He replied.
He then waited for the coffee to be prepared before leaving.
Indeed, the coffee was ready, and he took it with him as he headed out to the park.
“Here’s your coffee,” she told him.
“Please, enjoy your coffee!” She added.
“Oh, thank you!” He replied.
“I appreciate the coffee!” He added, then walked out of the building and continued on his way to the park.
“You are welcome, sir!”
“Be careful!” She told him.
To be honest, the park was not very far away at all.
To get to the park, he had to walk for a few minutes.
