Nortreus in His Office

While Mr. Nortreus was enjoying a game of golf in his office, Mrs. Medjina knocked on the door, hoping to visit him once more.

“Hello?”

“Mr. Nortreus?”

“Are you there?”

“Could you please open the door for me?” She called out as she knocked.

“Mrs. Medjina! Just a moment!” He shouted back so she could hear him.

When he finally opened the door, she stepped inside to spend some time with him.

“Good morning, Mr. Nortreus!”

“Nice to see you again!” She spoke. “Good morning, Mrs. Medjina!”

“Thank you!”

“How may I assist you?” He responded.

“I wanted to check in on you and see how you are doing,” she said.

“Thank you for your concern; I truly appreciate your thoughtfulness!” He replied.

“You're welcome!” She said, smiling as she looked at him with an appealing gaze at the door.

“Well, after several hours of working on my tales and other tasks, I decided to play a bit of golf,” he explained.

“Really?”

“You know how to play golf?” She asked.

“Yes! And what about you?” He replied and smiled.

“Not really, but I can try,” she said.

“How is work going?”

“Have you finished all the morning suggestions yet?” He inquired.

“Yes, I believe I have completed everything I needed for the morning,” she answered.

“Why?”

“Would you like to assist me?” She asked.

“You know what?” He replied.

“What?” She spoke.

“Why don't you come into the office so we can have a discussion?”

“Please, come in so we can talk,” he invited her with a smile.

“Are you sure?”

“Why not?” She responded as she entered the office.

In fact, Mr. Nortreus, holding his golf club, engaged in the game with Mrs. Medjina while continuing their conversation.

“I’m not sure if you genuinely want my help with some work, but I have doubts since I know you prefer to handle everything by yourself.”

“Am I right?” He asked her.

“I'm glad you understand me!”

“But my office will always open for you,” she replied.
