Celine and Kayla Met Mr.

Nortreus for the First Time

Celine, who was still rummaging through her bag, stumbled upon a sheet of paper.

What kind of paper was it?

It was the one that had been affixed to her bedroom window.

“I remember you!”

“Look, Kayla”

“Look!” Celine urged Kayla.

“What is it?” Kayla responded.

“I found this sheet of paper from my bedroom window!” Celine explained.

“When?” Kayla asked.

“Last night!” Celine replied.

“This person! Who is this person?” Kayla asked her about the portrait.

“I don't know, but I would like to find out,” Celine replied.

As the two discussed the portrait depicted on the paper, Mr. Nortreus's gaze fell upon it, though he was uncertain if it was from his notebook.

Then, Kayla, who had come to see Mr. Nortreus, was taken aback and shook at Celine.

“Celine!” Kayla called.

“Yes! What?” Celine answered.

“You won't believe this, but I think we found the owner of the paper!” Kayla said.

“Really? What are you talking about?” Celine inquired.

“Turn around and look at that guy!”

“He kind of resembles the old black man on the paper,” Kayla replied.

“I noticed they have the same head, nose, ears, mouth, and teeth,” she added, pondering.

Indeed, when Celine turned around to see the old man sitting on the bench, it was Mr. Nortreus, and she was equally astonished.

“Oh my God! We found him!”

“Can we talk to him?” Celine asked.

“Why not?” Kayla replied.

“But my parents told me not to talk to strangers,” Celine said.

“Me too!” Kayla echoed.

“But guess what?” Celine said.

“What?” Kayla replied.

“I'm going to talk to him,” Celine declared, rising with the sheet of paper in her hand.

“Be careful because we don't know him!” Kayla cautioned.

“Yes! I know!” Celine acknowledged.
