Celine and Kayla Were Seen
after School
As it was noon, Celine's school was released, and she was spotted walking down the hallway with her best friend Kayla, who was a white girl.
“Hi, best friend!”
“Good afternoon!”
“How are you?” Celine greeted and inquired as they walked past each other in the hallway.
“Hi, best friend!”
“Good afternoon!”
“I'm good, and you?” Kayla answered Celine.
“I'm good! Thanks!” Celine replied.
“Was your teacher nice today?” Kayla asked.
“My teacher wasn't mean today.”
“Why?”
“What about your teacher?” Celine responded.
“Today, my teacher was nice,” Kayla said.
Both girls were seen walking together in the hallway, heading out of school to meet their parents who had come to pick them up. “Are you going to the park too?” Celine asked Kayla.
“Really? You're going to the park?” Kayla replied.
“Yes! Why not?”
“Sometimes after sitting on the school bench for a while, it's nice to go to a park to relax,” Celine explained.
“I'd love to go too, but I'm not sure if my parents will agree,” Kayla said.
“Why don't you ask them?” Celine suggested.
“But which park? Is it Nortré-Ville Public Park or somewhere else?” Kayla inquired.
“Nortré-Ville Public Park!”
“Of course!” Celine responded.
“What other park could there be?” Celine added.
Indeed, Kayla, who went to find her parents, asked them to take her to the park.
