Celine Saw Her Best Friend
Kayla
While conversing with her parents in the car, Celine noticed her friend.
She quickly jumped out of the car and dashed towards her friend.
“Bye, mother! Father!”
“See you later!”
“I love you!” She called out to her parents as she exited the car and ran to her close friend.
“Bye, sweetheart!”
“We love you too and be careful!” Both of her parents responded.
“Yes, I will.”
“Thank you!” She replied.
Mr. Nortreus Boarded Bus to
Head at Work
“Have the buses already passed?” Mr. Nortreus asked a person who was waiting for a bus.
“I don't know, but I don't think so,” the bystander at the bus stop responded.
“Why?” The bystander asked.
“Just asking?”
“Thank you for your cooperation!” He replied.
“Okay?”
“May I ask you something?”
“Where are you headed? You look familiar,” the bystander remarked.
“Sure, I'm on my way to work. Why?” He replied.
“Are you Mr. Nortreus?”
“You manage Nortré-Ville Collections & Archives, right?” The bystander continued. “Yes! I am Mr. Nortreus!” He confirmed.
“And I oversee the museum and library,” he added.
“Pleasure to meet you, sir.”
“I knew it!”
“I know quite a bit about you, sir,” the bystander said.
“Nice to meet you as well.”
“Are you going to my museum and library or somewhere else?” He replied and asked. “No, I'm off to work,” the bystander replied.
“Alright, understood!” He spoke.
As time passed, a bus arrived, and he boarded it.
The bystander chose not to get on since it wasn't on his route to work.
“It was great talking with you!”
“Have a wonderful day!” He told the bystander as he entered the bus.
“Oh, thank you!” The bystander responded.
And that's just another typical day for Mr. Nortreus as he walks and takes the bus to work.
The Mayor of the Town Gave
a Press Conference
“Hello!” exclaimed the Mayor of Nortré-Ville.
“Hello! Residents of Nortré-Ville!”
“Welcome, everyone!” He reiterated as he stood in front of his office, preparing to address the public during a press conference.
“Today is a lovely day, isn't it?”
“I truly appreciate you at my press conference,” he continued.
“What are the upcoming plans for the city, sir?” asked a member of the crowd.
“Yes! What are the future plans for the town?” another audience member shouted. Many attendees were engaged in discussions, speculating what was next.
“Quiet down!”
“The Mayor will provide further details shortly,” a staff member from the Mayor's office announced through the microphone.
“Thank you, Nortré-Ville!”
“I genuinely care for my community!”
“Listen up, everyone! We need to discuss high inflation, as the town requires funds to assist us,” the Mayor stated.
“Hey! What about low inflation? We desire freedom!” Another audience member shouted.
At that moment, laughter erupted from some attendees.
“Yes! What about low inflation?”
“Do we have to constantly pay bills?” another audience member chimed in loudly.
“Absolutely!”
“What do you say, Mr. Mayor?” Others in the audience echoed loudly.
“Please, everyone!”
“Allow the Mayor to speak!” Another staff member urged them.
“Indeed! Let me have the floor!”
“Let me speak!”
“What do you think about that?” The Mayor responded.
Additionally, representatives from print and television media were there, along with radio coverage broadcasting the conference live, allowing others in the town to tune in. Many individuals who were not physically there were following the event from various locations, including restaurants, homes, workplaces, hotels, and more.
A few minutes later, while the Mayor was discussing high inflation, another audience member posed two very loud questions. “Are you finished speaking, Mr. Mayor?”
“Can we head home now?”
“Can you stop speaking now” the other audience members called out.
However, the Mayor chose to listen without responding.
Instead, laughter erupted from some members of the audience.
Mr. Nortreus Arrived at Work
a Few Minutes Later
Upon Mr. Nortreus's arrival at the museum and library where he was employed, he entered and greeted everyone present.
“Hi everybody!”
“Good morning!”
“How are you?” He greeted and asked some of his employees, staff, and visitors in the entrance hall.
“Good morning, Mr. Nortreus!”
“We're doing well, and you?” they responded to him in the Foyer.
“Alright, great!”
“I hope each of you has a wonderful day with me here!”
“I'm heading to my office desk to work on some projects, okay,” he told them.
“No problem, sir!”
“Thank you!” They replied.
After completing his greetings and conversations, he proceeded upstairs directly to his office.
“I love my job!”
“Thank God!” He exclaimed as he made his way to his office.
