The Quantum Buddhism Association (QBA) is a simple organization that aims at finding scientific and spiritual solutions to actual world difficulties. Combining the views of quantum physics and spirituality, we develop new ways of thinking in a unified way. We work in ways to alleviate suffering in the world.
The QBA was founded by Venerable Maha Vajra (birth name François Lépine) in early 2007, with the help of Reverend Tara Baishajye (Dr. Jean-Patrick Mercier).
Although our inner structure might seem to be similar to the ways of a Buddhist religious community, we have adapted the ancient ways to the modern reality, where truth is often sought in a laboratory based on objective observation. We collaborate with people from all religious and cultural backgrounds. Buddhism is not a religion, but a philosophy. We are all equal and free.
