They all ship in November, but Bezos himself recommends pre-ordering now.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: right;\"><em><strong>10:52AM<\/strong> Fire ships November 15th. &#8220;We&#8217;re making many millions of these, but I still recommend you pre-order today.&#8221;<br \/>\n<\/em>&#8211; from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.engadget.com\/2011\/09\/28\/live-from-amazons-tablet-event-in-nyc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">engadget live-blogging post<\/a><\/p>\n<p>As predicted and been talked about almost endlessly since rumors of the new Kindle were heard, <a href=\"http:\/\/Amazon.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Amazon.com<\/a> and their entire website and supporting infrastructure is now tailored to allow mobile devices (and especially the new Kindle Fire) to take full advantage.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a lot technical details to swallow at once, but rest assured that it boils down to us being able to browse the <a href=\"http:\/\/Amazon.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Amazon.com<\/a> website on our mobile devices faster and more intuitively.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, everything is now \u2018in the cloud\u2019. <a href=\"http:\/\/Amazon.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Amazon.com<\/a> Prime has included movies and TV shows for a year or 2, but now it\u2019s also about music, books, magazines, etc and all tied into the mobile experience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bottom line<\/strong>: <a href=\"http:\/\/Amazon.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Amazon.com<\/a> wants to entertain you in every possible way, on every device you could own &#8211; and all powered by their very own technology.<\/p>\n<p>Brilliant move.<\/p>\n<p>There should be little doubt that while there are other eReaders on the market, the Nook and the Kindle are 2 biggest contenders.
