The aunt and uncle who played surrogate parents and

taught me so much;

My cousin whose continuity of family smiles knowingly;

My new mom and dad with the lessons brought and

difference in love;

My brother-in-law in his kindness;

My husband’s aunt whose independence sings her own tune;

My husband’s uncle who offers warmth and strength;

My husband who has changed my life and grows with

me—gracefully and fitfully;
