Book Description
What baseball team won the most consecutive pennants and World Series championships? Please tell me why they are excluded from the “expert’s” all-time-greatest lists.Since when has merely winning been superseded by other criteria, the bulk of which is not backed up by any durable facts, thereby being merely anecdotal? The New York Yankees of 1949-1953 must think that any answers are patently stupid, as they took on and beat all comers, teams that the “experts” then and still consider better. They beat J. Robinson’s all-star packed Brooklyn Dodger team all three times they faced each other in the WS during this 1949-1953 stretch, as well as once more in 1947. It seems comical that the MLB “expert” crew consider those Dodgers one of their all-time-best five, but not the winning Yankees.
