A fenced area is absolutely necessary with Sight Hounds. Keep your puppy on a leash every time you go outside and hold on tightly to the leash! These dogs will chase anything that moves, including cars. Keep that in mind when you take him outside to his potty place. If he sees a rabbit and is not on a leash, he will be gone before you can even start to chase him down.
