He agrees to help his friend, but, to Bunny's amazement, he confesses that he is a thief, a 'cracksman' or safebreaker. He asks Bunny to help him with his exploits. Shocked, he agrees. The book is Bunny's chronicle of many audacious adventures and burglaries.
