The Bible describes spirituality as living out of the human spirit, not out of the soul alone. This book explains Biblical spirituality as using the human spirit to harness the power of God from the Word of God to live a life of power and purpose. It outlines why most Christians fail to achieve spirituality, as they are striving and straining under their own inadequate soul power to try to please God, and are failing. Spirituality is achieved by using God's power from His Word, not by trying to be a "good person," being moral, or other avoidance methods which dominate Christian beliefs today. Spirituality is instead a positive approach to pleasing God which uses our human spirit given to us at salvation to align with the will and purpose of God for our life.
