Bryan Britton is a retired financial executive living in Umlanga Rocks, a village on the eastern shores of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. He is the father of three boys and grandfather to seven grandchildren.




20th October 1950

Author 'Stepping Stones' and 'A Bridge Too Far' and 'Umhlanga Rocks'. Retired after forty years in Financial Management. Has three sons in IT living in Gauteng, South Africa. The author was educated in South Africa, at Christian Brothers College and the University of the Witwatersrand. He has spent 40 years in the field of financial management. During this time, he was involved in a wide variety of industries, ranging from beverages, security, banking, design,advertising, venture capital, healthcare, auditing, stock-broking and software.

He suffered a stroke in 2005 and was forced to retire from active business and thereafter dedicated himself to writing on topics of youth, motivation and education. 'Umhlanga Rocks' is his first attempt at a work of fiction
