Ernest Yungsi was born in Cameroon, Africa. He obtained a degree in Journalism from the University of Buea. After the BBC Focus on Africa radio program, twice in January 2002, declared his short stories First Visit and Nature’s Call, respectively, winners of its Love and Crime Story Competition, Ernest moved to China where he taught English for eleven years, while playing soccer in the amateur league of Dalian city. Ernest also wrote for Dalian Kelton Magazine and worked as part-time News Editor for Dalian Channel One TV’s English News.
