Reading, gardening, music and dogs have been life long passions. Working with people to improve their lot in life has been a lifelong avocation, which I've met through social work and teaching. Humorously, wryly, I thought earlier in my life that one would work to a certain degree of goodness, or good works, and one would reach at least a plateau. HAH! At least older dogs can and do learn new tricks.
