Mary Thomas

Mary Thomas is a qualified trainer with a background in Microsoft Office and IT training, having achieved the ECDL Advanced certificates in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access. In 2008, Mary started Concise Training Limited to offer training on Microsoft Office products to individuals over the internet and face to face. She has trained people in the US, France, Germany and all over the UK using this model. She also offers face to face training to groups in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook from beginner to advanced levels. She specialises in helping staff and individuals to become more productive in using the software available.

Using distance learning methodologies and working with DawsonLoane, Concise Training can offer the City & Guilds ITQ at Level 2 and Level 3 so that individuals can gain a recognised qualification in the tools.

She also helps business owners, marketing managers and individuals on how to use social media marketing to improve their sales, brand awareness and reputation.

She is the author of ‘Social Media Made Simple’, a workbook which helps business owners and marketing managers create a social media marketing strategy. She has created a Level 3 accredited City & Guilds qualification in social media as well as creating the learning resources for the Level 2 Social and Digital Apprenticeship. Mary is the author of ‘Using Social Media for Personal Gain’, also available from BookBoon.
