The intention of this book is to serve as a compendium which contributes to a better understanding of major ethical terminology and basic ethical systems orientated towards business ethics. This book is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical in which survey of main ethical terminology and the most important ethical systems are presented. The second part of this book focuses on applied ethics in which a few cases are analyzed from the position of normative ethics.


Lucjan Klimsza

Lucjan Klimsza was born in Haví?ov, a small town in Czech Republic. He studied at the Theological Faculty, Comenius University in Bratislava, where he earned in 2007 his doctoral degree Doctor of Theology (ThDr.). In 2009 he earned his doctoral degree in history of philosophy (PhD.). In the same year he published his first book Wust: Philosophy of Uncertainty (Wust: Filozofie nejistoty). In 2014 he finished his studies at the Faculty of Arts on Comenius University in Bratislava, where he defended his doctoral degree Doctor of Philosophy (PhDr.).

His main area of interest is the ethical problem of values in the context of postmodern philosophy. He has published articles in several journals, for example The New Educational Review. He lives with his family in Haví?ov and works at the Department of Social Studies, Pedagogical Faculty of Ostrava University in Ostrava, where he lecture History of Philosophy and Introduction to Ethics.
