Liam Phelan, Jennie Howe

Liam Phelan started his career in 1995 working at the University of Wollongong supporting the campus network. During this time he completed a Diploma in Computer Applications and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. He then went on to obtain industry IT certifications in MCSE, CCNA, A+ and Linux+. Liam has over ten years’ experience working within the computer industry, having worked for major engineering and Steel companies. He left the industry to found his own business called IT Free Training. IT Free Training provides free training resources for industry professionals. Jennie Howe is a freelance writer with a passion for technology. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, majoring in Journalism and Writing from the University of Technology, Sydney. She has also studied multimedia, digital media and Information Services. Jennie has worked in a number of different industry sectors giving her an in-depth knowledge of education and media. Currently she works for IT Free Training in course development and quality control, to ensure courses are both easy to understand as well as being technically accurate.
