Tony Managano is an elderly getaway driver who must pull one last job in order to pay off his son's debts and have enough to retire on. LIKES this bookThe book is told entirely in wiseguy slang / dialect which can make it hard to follow at times but gives it an immediacy and authenticity other crime stories can lack. I read a lot of crime fiction and I really enjoyed Tony Scram - it may even be my favourite book of 2012.
Read it - it's worth it.
