I was born during the great depression era so am no spring chicken. My education left much to be desired due to the intervention of WW2. I joined the Royal Navy at the tender age of fifteen and regret not one day of my 9 years in the service at a time when we still had a navy to be reckoned with. My book 'Time Of Our Life' is by no means autobiographical, more wishful thinking. 'Marie' (not her real name) for whom it was written, was the first one to read it. She was and is my muse. Yes we were childhood sweethearts but that's where fact and fiction diverge. It's a story of what might have been in our make-believe world. I hope you enjoy it.
