Light-blue eyes.
In his dreams, he sees her light-blue eyes in the middle of a heavy
mist. They faintly glow with white light as if they were a source of power
and sustenance. They're rather feline, mysterious and beautiful. As they
peer at him, he feels as though he's being meticulously studied for strengths
and weaknesses. It's not an unpleasant feeling, for he wants those eyes to
welcome him, to accept him, to wrap him up in a warm blanket of love for
an hour or two.
Unfortunately the eyes hold a hint of malice. It is subtle, but it is
there. The eyes are windows to an abundance of anger and hate which
slowly grow until they can be no longer contained. It's only a matter of time
before the anger pounces on him, and then he will feel such pain as he had
never felt before. And there's no mystery as to the source of the malice: He
had done something to the woman who owns these eyes, the woman who
studies him in the deadly mist. It was something that had been necessary
and unforgivable, something he'd do again if he had to.
He had killed her.
And yet in his dreams he still wants her love, wants to hold her hand
and whisper sweet nothings, wants to while the day away with her in his
arms.
He'd be damned if he knew why, though. She had not been as she had
seemed, a beautiful and strong young woman who needed to be rescued. He
had killed her because she was something he could not love, a being who had
done him a terrible wrong. Perhaps his feelings were manipulated by
magic, but that was impossible. Magic was capable of many wondrous
