Two men are stranded on a desolate, uninhabited island in the Atlantic Ocean, from where they are rescued by a strange underwater craft and transported to a new world. Really slow, sometimes hard to follow because it's very "english" in vocabulary. Uses a lot of the same phraseology over and over, I get it one's an Englishman and one's an American. Also who says "ejaculated" as a word for reply? More than 10 times? I didn't care about the characters and the story as a whole is weak.
