The Eternally Practical Way: An Interpretation of the Dao De Jing (Tao Te Ching)
According to tradition, the Dao De Jing was written in China by Lao Zi some time between the 6th and 3rd centuries B.C. The Dao De Jing (or Tao Te Ching) literally means "The Classic of the Way and the Virtue." This book is about the way of the universe and how one can follow the way. There have been many translations of and commentaries on this book. The present interpretation is neither a translation nor a commentary, but rather a synthesis of my ideas and the ideas of the Dao De Jing. The present interpretation is inspired by the Dao De Jing, but does not claim to comprehend or possess the purity of the Dao. My interpretation is meant to provoke more thought on the subject of the way and to provide a fresh perspective.
