Bob N. Wallace - - The CONVENTION
About the Author
The author has a wide and varied background.
He was Convention Manager for a major
religious denomination in the United States. He
has been on the staff of a large city convention
bureau. He founded and was the first President
and CEO of The Religious Convention Managers
Association of America.
He is a published author who has written for
several magazines. He was a popular weekly
columnist for The Naples Daily News and is a
monthly contributor to the Everglades City local
newspaper, The Mullet Rapper.
Bob N. Wallace was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he attended public schools.
He graduated from Will Rogers High School; attended Northwestern University,
Evanston Illinois (Edgar Bergen Drama Scholarship); earned Bachelor of Arts
degree, Tulsa University; earned Bachelor of Divinity and Master of Divinity
degrees, Southern Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky; attended Union Theological
Seminary, Richmond, Virginia; earned Doctor of Sacred Theology (Magna cum
Laude), Bethany Theological Seminary, Dothan, Alabama. He was a Teaching
Fellow in the Department of Speech, Southern Seminary; adjunct faculty
member, Department of Religion, University of Richmond, Virginia. He served
in the U.S. Navy as a Chaplain.
He has previously served as pastor of two large churches and continues to have
an active ministry as Pastor of Community Church in Everglades City, Florida.
He lives in Naples, Florida, with his wife and two cocker spaniels and enjoys
boating on the Gulf of Mexico.
He is currently working a sequel to The Convention and plans to produce a
