This is a multi-genre graded reader series designed for students of grade one
to nine. The series presents a wide range of literature from many periods in
many genres to build an understanding of the many dimensions (e.g. philosophical,
ethical aesthetic) of human experience. Students are led to apply a wide range
of strategies to comprehend, interpret, evaluate and appreciate the texts through
a variety of fun-filled and stimulating activities.
The texts have been carefully selected from the world of authentic children’s
literature and adapted and abridged whenever necessary to suit our children.
