When the doctor is revived, he recovers and returns to work, but has residual seizures and paranoia. The doctor and his immigrant town are then increasingly plagued by the presence of a menacing dark figure; and the figure appears to contribute to a number of deaths in the town. I was spell bound by this book. I don't like horror movies, but I could not put this book down. I am eagerly awaiting the next book.

Great book. Almost has a Stephen King feel to the writing. I will be looking for the next in the series.
