Actually, even Darwin's contemporaries who argued against him agreed with the concept of evolution—yes, the religious bodies too. What was in question was the mechanism and there was some disquiet about Man having an ape as an ancestor. The prevailing view, whether Lamarckian or Darwinian, was one of "All things bright and beautiful, All creatures great and small". What Darwin proposed is, "It's a war out there!". This upset a lot of applecarts."Intelligent Design" is far worse and far more insidious than Creationism; it cannot even be considered a theory, tenable or otherwise. It is really just a formal acknowledgement of the shortfalls of Creationism as a theory and a misguided attempt to circumvent Reality.

Intermediary fossils HAVE been found. There you go.

Obviously, evolution is completely bogus. It doesn't make ANY sense at all. Anyone with a brain and who actually uses it can see that. Darwin himself said that if the intermediary fossils are not found, then evolution is a lie. Well, there ya go.

Kelley Ashbrook

Darwin disproved himself with the complexity of cellular structure amongst other studies. His religious followers of the hypothesis of evolution stubbornly adhere to this as fact even decades after disproving his supposed famous work.
