Four years ago, Drago gave up a successful career as an investment banker to publish a chain of small community newspapers in and around the city of Boston. It was the first big active change of his adult life, but there was to be a bigger transition on the horizon. Now turning 40 and finding it impossible to live the yuppie lifestyle that his money granted him access to, Drago becomes disillusioned with himself and the world around him, opting for a radical change. It's at that moment that he makes the conscious decision to move himself and his Ferrari to the 'hood, selling his posh condo and renting a condemned crack house, that he now calls home. It's there that Drago meets and interacts with a variety of wild, over the top characters, and where he'll ultimately find the one thing that has eluded him his entire life: True love. A really good novel, catchy, profound. Neatly written for an intelligent author who offers amusement without forgetting a lifelike psychological quest. Cheers!

Had so much fun reading it, made me laugh so hard, I couldn't breathe. :))))

I took this as one of my 'holiday reads' and whilst it's not at the top of my list of 'must reads' I enjoyed it overall. I didn't find Drago, as the central character, the most interesting or even likeable but many of the minor characters gave a bit of depth when needed.

Frances Hickman

It is very well written. I haven't enjoyed a book as much since I read "Quickie" by James Patterson.

Alexandra Smith

great book, easy to read and very funny.

I loved the book I found it very interesting. It's different from the rest with a story line of a drop from the top to the bottom, and a switch where you find true meaning in people as the are, not in the titles and money they make.

Thought it was great

Great story. Great characters. Drago at first is drifting without plans, You wonder what is going on with him. He lives in a run-down house that alive with cockroaches. He gets a boa constrictor to keep the roaches down. He takes people for what they are, no matter what their place in society. When he finds someone to believe in, evrything falls apart until the people he has helped come t help him.
